Artist Oscar Oiwa’s Creates a 360° “Paradise Drawing” Using Nothing But Sharpies

Brazilian born Japanese artist Oscar Oiwa recently finished a fascinating 360° cave mural out of 120 Sharpie markers. The mural itself was done inside of an inflatable vinyl balloon and features Oiwa’s magical realism seen through out much of his other work. 

“I’ve always enjoyed drawing, which I consider the most basic way of expressing myself visually. A pencil and a blank sheet— there is no simpler medium than that.”
